The fisherman and his soul

This compelling and peculiar «tale» by Oscar Wild describes the story of a fisherman who denies his soul in order to gain a mermaid’s love revealing in a symbolic way the tragedy of our separation from our soul. Through a «magic realism» the tale touches the deeper, unanswered questions of our existence.
